Quick easy snack – Pitta Chips

Fancy picking up a bag of crisps this week, don’t! Jane and Judy in the Kitchen came across this recipe again and thought we must share it with you again. Some may have tried the recipe and I am sure you agree that it is a quick, simple and healthy snack to replace a packet of crisps or serve as nibbles at a dinner party.

Ingredients

6 Pitta breads

2tbsp of olive oil

salt

pepper

(we tried drizzling over balsamic vinegar too – delicious)

This recipe is very easy. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Split open the pitta breads in half and cut them in to triangles. Place the pitta on to a tray with baking paper and season with salt and pepper. Then drizzle the olive oil over the pittas and toss them around in the tray to make sure all are lightly covered.

There you have it, quick, easy and looks impressive!
